The Fiat Mobi budget hatchback has been launched in Brazil, with prices starting from R$31,900 (approximately INR 6.08 lakhs). The Mobi, which aims to take on the Renault Kwid in the Brazilian market, comes in six trim levels – Easy, Easy On, Like, Like On, Way and the range-topping Way On, which is priced at R$43,800 (approximately INR 8.35 lakhs).

The Easy trim is rather sparsely equipped, and doesn’t even feature air-conditioning or power steering. It is however, equipped with 13-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, body-coloured bumpers, Emergency Stop Signal, Lane Change Warning and split rear seats. The fully loaded Way On trim level gets 14-inch alloy wheels, body cladding, bumper guards and roof rails. There are also 40 Mopar accessories to choose from.

Other goodies on the range-topping Mobi include follow-me home headlights, electrically adjustable side mirrors, a rear-view camera, electric windows, air conditioning, trip computer, infotainment system with 6.2-inch display, navigation system, USB, AUX and multi-function steering wheel. The new Fiat Mobi is powered by a 1.0-liter four-cylinder flex-fuel engine producing 77 HP when running on petrol or 75 HP on ethanol and 93 Nm/97 Nm of torque respectively. Power is sent to the wheels via a standard 5-speed manual transmission.
