Tata Motors has made some changes to the diesel equipped compact sedan, the Zest. Tata Motors has equipped the XM and XMS trim of the Zest with 75 PS version of the 1.3-litre diesel engine. This engine was earlier available on the XE variant only.
The 75 PS variant will replace the 90 PS engine which will now be seen on the XMA (AMT), XT and XTA (AMT) variants only. Apart from the availability of alloy wheels to XT and XTA models, the feature list remains unaltered.
The Tata Zest is available in petrol and diesel engine options. A 1.2-litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine churns 90 PS of power and 140Nm of torque while the 1.3-litre Quadrajet oil burner from Fiat is available in two power variants – 75PS of power with 190NM of torque and 90PS of power with 200Nm of torque.
Tata Zest is available in four petrol trims namely XE, XM, XMS and XT – and six diesel versions tagged as XE, XM, XMS, XMA, XT and XTA.
