The Suzuki Gixxer SF was launched for the Indian market on April 7, 2015, and the Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer surprised everyone by competitive pricing the product at Rs 83,889 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle benefits from a fairing that has been developed in the same wind tunnel that is used for the GSX-R and MotoGP machines.
The Gixxer SF is powered by the same 154.9cc single-cylinder, the air-cooled, 2-valve engine that is found on the Gixxer 155. The engine churns out 14.8 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Suzuki claims that the SEP technology equipped Gixxer SF to deliver great power without compromising fuel economy.
