The highly-anticipated Mahindra Mojo has been snapped at the Kari Speedway in Coimbatore by a Motoroids reader.

Here’s why we think that the Mahindra Mojo can be the biggest surprise upon launch

Cradling the 295cc, four stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine with Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC), is a an unique, tubular frame finished in a shade of gold, along-with the conventional swing arm. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power of 27 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 25Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The dual exhausts could have been more imaginatively styled

The Mojo’s large front fairing will feature twin head-lamps topped with eyebrow like daytime running lights. The frame doubles up below the large tank, with the twin tubular structure becoming an aesthetic element. The pair of bolt-on, fake air-takes are a bit of a eye-sore though. Up front, there’ll be a huge petal disc brake setup, while at the back get’s a more conventional disc.

Other noticeable bits include the USD (Up Side Down) front forks, sticky Pirelli Sport Demon tyres, light-weight alloy wheels, LED tail-lamp and dual exhausts. The riding position is more relaxed with seat set much lower to handle bar, like the KTM Duke 200/390 and the Suzuki Inazuma.  The instrument cluster comprises of a analogue RPM meter with rest of the information being digital.
