Mahindra is aggressively targeting the two-wheeler segment to gain as much share as it can. The latest entrant from Mahindra’s stable is a new variant of its commuter motorcycle, Centuro with ‘Rockstar’ tag. Mahindra Centuro Rockstar is priced at Rs 43,700 and is targeted at the mass 100/110cc consumer segment. The Centuro Rockstar features new graphics in a combination of bright red, black and gold. This coupled with the ‘Golden Ribs’ – now synonymous with Centuro motorcycles.

Speaking on the launch Viren Popli, Chief of Operations, Mahindra Two Wheeler said, “With the launch of the Centuro Rockstar, we now have a full range of truly differentiated motorcycles, each of which delivers a tremendous value proposition as part of the award winning Centuro brand. Each Centuro now addresses a different consumer sub-segment in the large 100/110cc category. The new Centuro Rockstar is the style and value leader and comes with premium looks that ensure the consumer always stays in the limelight wherever he goes. Backed by our very large sales and service network and a 5 year warranty we are confident that the Rockstar will prove to be a Rock Star in the market as well.”

The Centuro Rockstar is powered by Mahindra’s indigenously developed intelligent MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited-5 Curve) 110 cc engine which delivers 8.5 BHP @ 7500 RPM of power. The MCi-5 technology and the patented lubrication system of the Centuro Rockstar are claimed to deliver an ARAI mileage of 85.4 kmpl. Mahindra’s five year warranty comes as a standard feature on the Centuro Rockstar.

The Centuro Rockstar gets first-in-category features like the Flip Key, six Pilot LEDs on headlamp and LED Brake Light. Other features on the Centuro Rockstar include extra long seat, five step adjustable rear suspension, handle bar mounted self returning choke, electric start and alloy wheels. The Centuro Rockstar comes in two colours Blazing Black and Heavy Metallic.

  1. Mahindra Centuro looks like one of the best ones in the segment. I bought it a few months back and I really like it. Since I travel more than 45kms everyday and this bikes makes commute very comfortable. All in all a good bike at good price.

  2. I am a guitar player this bike will suit me a lot. I will be happy when people shout on the road. see Rockstar’s Rockstar bike. lol
