Toyota Kirloskar Motors will have one of the most action packed exhibits at the 2012 Auto Expo. The biggest news at the Toyota stands will be the all new, 2012 version of the Camry. Launched internationally last year, the new Camry will help Toyota regain the lost ground in D-segment. The Japanese carmaker plans to assemble the car in India for the new model, a move which would hopefully reduce the price of the car in the Indian market and make it a more competitive proposition compared to the Accord and Superb.

Equally exciting would be the face-lifted versions of the Fortuner and the Innova, which although unveiled already will draw huge crowds thanks to their popularity in the Indian market. The refreshed models have overhauled exterior, interior and some more checkboxes ticked in terms of features. The formidable Fortuner now has an automatic transmission too.

Highlighting Toyota’s eco credentials will be its globally successful hybrid, the Prius. Toyota will bring the latest, refreshed model to the Expo and will launch it here to keep the Indian customers up to date with the best and the latest in the eco-tech.

The Etios twins in both petrol and diesel guise will also be present at the Toyota stalls
