Engine specs are likely to remain unchanged and hence the Gixxer twins will be powered by the conventional 154.9 cc single cylinder air cooled engine that is tuned to produce a maximum power output of 14.8 PS at 8000rpm while the peak torque of 14 Nm comes up at 6000 rpm. This engine is mated to a five speed transmission that sends power to the rear wheel.
