Bajaj Pulsar 200SS spotted with ABS
The fully faired version of Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, named as Pulsar 200SS, is expected to be launched in a few months time. Several spy images and videos have already surfaced over the internet but this latest photograph comes as pleasant surprise. Why? We can see a little ABS tone rings peeking out from under the semi-translucent cover.
What makes us think that the motorcycle in the images is a Pulsar 200SS and not a Pulsar 400SS? Well, as rumour mill suggests, it’s the Pulsar 200SS that will hit the roads before the Pulsar 400SS. Secondly, if you closely inspect the tyre thread, the motorcycle in picture dons a pair of Eurogrip tyres that are also found on the Pulsar 200NS. If you remember, the Pulsar 400SS that was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi had a pair of Metzeler tyres.

The engine, a 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled, carburetor employed unit producing 23.52 PS (23.18 bhp) at 9,500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm will be shared with the Pulsar 200NS. It’s still not clear whether this upcoming Pulsar will benefit from fuel-injection or not. The Pulsar 200NS is available as a fuel-injected model in Turkey with a power output of 24.4PS, about 1PS higher than the current carburetor equipped Pulsar 200NS of India. So it won’t be incorrect to expect the same output to reflect on the Indian models.

The problem with us is we are not ready to spend extra money on FI or ABS that’s the reason Bajaj is not releasing these models in India!! We trust all brands except Bajaj as if it’s a made in China product!!
This bike for imports I think we didn’t get fi on 200Ns Too
When will the bike be released…?
The image was spotted on a social networking website. We are still not sure about the pricing though.
Do you know the prices and where did you spot this picture?
