Skoda Auto India will bring its own version of the VW Up here. The Citigo hatch, which is a VW Up! under the skin will be showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo. Just like the Up!, the Citigo will be Skoda’s volumes product for the Indian market. It will be powered by a 1.0 liter petrol and a 1.2 liter diesel when it hits the market sometime in 2013.

The company will also showcase its Mission L Concept. First unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September 2011, the Mission L has advanced in terms of its closeness to production, and this more advanced vehicle will be shown at the Expo. The Mission L will eventually take shape of a mid size sedan which will try to straddle the Rapid and the Laura.

Joining the two new models will be two variants of Skoda Fabia namely Fabia Scout and Fabia Monte Carlo. While the Fabia Scout is a slightly more off-road friendly version of the hatchback with higher ground clearance and black plastic cladding all around, the Monte Carlo variant will carry all-black exteriors including the roof top of the car. The interiors will have a blend of black and red leather upholstery with red colored stitches.
