The highly awaited Yamaha R25 has been rendered again and this time, these Yamaha R25 images come from the good folks at MotoBlast. On being compared to concept Yamaha R25 images, it can be easily observed that the artist believes that the production spec R25 would look much the like M1-inspired design study.

The upcoming Yamaha R25 will be powered by a new 250cc parallel twin engine that will most likely have a max power of around 35PS. The engine will come mated to a six speed manual gearbox. It is being said that there are high chances of Yamaha planning to come up with a single cylinder 250cc motor for cost-sensitive bike markets like that of India. While this single pot motor would be marginally less powerful than the twin, there are good chances that it will enjoy a slightly higher peak torque. Also, while the R15 enjoys a Steel Spars frame, the R25 will be built around a new tubular frame. A step backwards, no?

Here in our country, the new Yamaha R25 will be seen rivalling the stylish Hyosung GT250R, the upcoming single cylinder Kawasaki Ninja 250 Mono and the very capable Honda CBR250R. Local manufacturing of the new model should help the bike maker to launch its upcoming 250cc bike at a very competitive price point.

There are decent chances that the new Yamaha R25 production model will be unveiled on March 25, which is just a couple of days ago. Stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates on the upcoming Yamaha R25.
