Aston Martin DB11 previewed in India

Previously at the Geneva Motor Show 2016, Aston Martin unleashed their all new and the most powerful DB. The DB11, not only garnered whistles and cheers from the crowd but has been bestowed with many awards. Launched under the luxury carmaker’s six year ‘Second Century Plan’, the first DB11 came off the Gaydon production line on 28 September 2016 and the first deliveries to customers will take place during October.

This also happens to be a reason for rejoice for Indians, as the company has plans to roll out the DB11 for customers in India. The Indian arm of the DB11 maker had organised a private preview in Delhi following which similar event will be held across various cities of the country. It is safe to believe that the DB11 will be launched in India soon, reportedly, in October itself. As of now, Aston Martin has received over 3,000 orders for the new DB11. These cars will be hand-built at the company’s sports car production plant and headquarters, in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Powering the Aston Martin DB11 is a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that makes this model the most powerful production DB ever. Designed in-house, this new engine can fire out a power of 600 horses and 700Nm of torque and comes with a rear mid-mounted ZF eight-speed  automatic  gearbox  with  electronic  shift-by-wire control system. The Aston Martin DB11 can go from 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds before maxing out at almost 320kmph.
