Suzuki Burgman 125 EX Unvieled At Intermot 2022

Leading international business and event-packed trade fair for the world of motorized two-wheeled vehicles, The INTERMOT 2022 saw Suzuki unveiling its Burgman Street EX 125 cc scooter. The Burgman Street EX 125 is the same as the Burgman Street sold in India. The Suzuki Burgman Street EX is the third scooter to get imported from India after the Address 125 which is called the Access 125 in India and the Avenis.

The Burgman Street EX 125 is powered by Suzuki’s 8.48hp, 124cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. In comparison, the Burgman Street that’s sold in India has the same engine and produces 8.7hp at 6750rpm in India. Other than that, both the international scooter and Indian scooter are pretty much the same both scooters have the Suzuki Easy Start system and a glovebox with a USB charging port. Both also have similar designs, the only difference which can be seen is the new grab rail on the international scooter comes with a luggage rack.

In India, the Burgman street 125 is priced at Rs 95,000 Ex-showroom price. The Bluetooth variant comes at Rs 96,000 and is available in five colors – red, white, grey, white, and black. The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 is powered by a 124cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 8.58 bhp and a torque of 10 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Suzuki Burgman Street 125 comes up with a combined braking system for both wheels. This Burgman Street 125 scooter weighs 110 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.5 liters. The Burgman Street competes with the Aprilia SXR 125, Honda Activa 125, and the TVS Ntorq 125. 

The Burgman Street features full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster. It connects with the rider’s smartphone through the Suzuki Ride Connect application and gives access to turn-by-turn navigation, estimated time of arrival updates, message notifications including incoming calls, WhatsApp and SMS, missed call alerts, caller ID, phone battery level, and overspeed warning. Owners can also get the last parked location and share the trip information using the app. The Burgman also gets the feature of footrests on the footboard. This allows the rider to kick his feet out front and rest them like a cruiser motorcycle.
