OFFICIAL RELEASE: New 163cc Honda CB Unicorn launched at Rs 69,350 ex-showroom Delhi

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India added a new product its motorcycles portfolio in India with the launch of all new CB Unicorn 160. Powered by the latest 163cc engine that comes with Honda Eco Technology (HET), the new CB Unicorn 160 is claimed to offer a mix of style, design and high fuel efficiency. Honda CB Unicorn 160 is targeted towards India’s youth population aged between 25-35 years that demands best-in-class performance delivering premium riding experience with improved fuel efficiency.

In terms of design, the new CB Unicorn 160 is conceptualized keeping the youth in mind. Aggressive looking fuel tank with floating side cowls come with 3D emblem. Arrow shaped side panel also contributes to the styling. The LED tail light is designed in a stylish H-shape. It has been aligned with turn indicators, which glimmer from a distance. The muffler receives a chrome finish, which also adds to the style appeal.

Powered by Honda Eco Technology (HET), the 163cc mid-sized advanced Honda engine has long stroke which is claimed to have extra torque and higher fuel efficiency. Honda says that the new CB Unicorn achieves best in class compression ratio, for delivering the right punch of power. It is also equipped with weight balancer which reduces the vibrations. Considering everyday usage, the CB Unicorn 160 is said to deliver best in class mileage of 62 km/l*. In addition, centrifugal casting allows a thin, uniform wall thickness, which helps in weight reduction. The braking department witnesses a new add-on as the CB Unicorn 160 receives Honda’s Combi-Brake System (CBS) which is said to significantly reduce the stopping distance.

CB Unicorn 160 will be available in four colors – Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Black, Geny Grey Metallic and Sunbeam White and is available for sale in two variants– Standard and CBS. The motorcycle is priced, at Rs. 69,350 for the standard variant and Rs 74,414 for the CBS variant (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
