For 2017, the MV Agusta Brutale 800 uses a Euro 4 compliant 798 cc in-line three cylinder engine that delivers 109 bhp of power at 11,500 rpm and 83 Nm of torque at 7600 rpm. So while power figure is slightly lower than previous generation’s 123 bhp at 11,600 rpm, the torque number has gone up marginally from the old Brutale 800’s 81Nm at 8,600rpm.
It gets a massive visual overhaul too. List of visual upgrades over the previous model include a full LED headlamp, LED turn indicators, redesigned tail light, new handlebar, instrument panel and controls. Electronic and rider safety aid list includes slipper clutch, switchable ABS, eight level traction control, riding modes and and integrated multi-map Ride-By-Wire System.
