Yamaha has hiked the price of the R15S by ₹1000 and it now costs ₹1.61 lakh. Yamaha also recently updated the YZF-R15S Version 3.0 with a new paint shade of Matte Black. The YZF-R15S V3 (Unibody Seat) variant is sold alongside the YZF-R15 V4 model. This variant was previously available in the Racing Blue shade. The rest of the specifications and features remain the same as before.

The “YZF-R15” brand has been a significant milestone in the company’s history; the product being the torchbearer to introducing racing culture in India. The YZF-R15 V3 has seen huge success for its spectacular engineering prowess and technological advancements, and the new variant will continue to carry the baton to strengthen that position in the premium super sports segment. The R15S V3 variant is powered by a 155cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve engine that produces a maximum power of 18.6 PS at 10,000rpm, with a torque output of 14.1 Nm at 8,500rpm. The fuel-injected motor with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Yamaha YZF-R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition
Yamaha is known to launch special editions of its bikes and the R15M received has previously received such treatment as well. The R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition was launched at ₹1.88 lakh to commemorate Yamaha’s 60th anniversary in racing. This special edition of the R15 features only cosmetic changes. It features a white and red ‘speed block’ color scheme with gold alloy wheels and front forks.
Yamaha has also added black levers and a special badge on the fuel tank. The World GP 60th Anniversary Edition costs Rs 5,000 more than the standard R 15M. The rest of the features and specifications of the R15M remain the same. It is powered by a 155cc, four-valve, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 18.4hp and 14.2nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
