Yamaha Includes TCS in Their New Line-up

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt Ltd. announced the release of the 2023 versions of the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe, FZ-X, MT-15 V2 Deluxe, and R15M.

Along with the Yamaha R15M and R15V4, the Yamaha FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe, FZ-X, and MT-15 V2 Deluxe models will now come standard with Traction Control System (TCS).  The Traction Control System regulates the timing of the ignition and the volume of the fuel injection to immediately modify engine power output to prevent excessive slippage. This guarantees effective power transfer to the wheel and reduces wheelspin, improving the perception that modern riders really deserve.

Yamaha FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe & FZ-X

FZS Fi V4 Deluxe

Building on its history, the 2023 FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe model will have a completely new headlamp design with LED flashers, which will increase the motorcycle’s premium appeal in addition to TCS. The Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect Application is now also used to power the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe version.

Yamaha FZX

With the addition of LED flashers and a fresh color scheme of Dark Matt Blue with golden color rim, the FZ-X now includes TCS as standard.

Both the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe and the FZ-X models come equipped with a single-channel ABS in the front and a rear disc brake, as well as a multi-function LCD instrument cluster, an LED headlight, a tire-hugging rear mudguard, and a lower engine guard. They are both propelled by the 149 cc engine, which is incredibly dependable and time-tested and produces 12.4 PS of peak power at 7,250 rpm and 13.3Nm of peak torque @ 5,500 rpm.

Yamaha R15M & MT-15 V2 Deluxe

The much anticipated coloured TFT Meter with gear change indicator, Track & Street Mode option, and LED flashers will now be available on the 2023 R15M. The R15M 2023 model carries on the legacy by maintaining all the features of the earlier generation. The firm has also added the new Dark Knight colour to the version 4 of the supersport model of the R15 to increase client excitement.

R15V4 Dark Night

Dual-channel ABS will be standard on the MT-15 V2 Deluxe, which multiplies braking effectiveness. Also, brand-new LED flashers will emphasise the vehicle’s design. In addition to the current hues of Ice Fluo-Vermillion, Cyan Storm, and Racing Blue, the MT-15 V2 Deluxe is now also offered in Metallic Black.

The iconic Yamaha liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, 155cc fuel-injected engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system powers both the R15M & MT-15 V2 Deluxe. It also includes a smooth-shifting 6-speed gearbox coupled with an assist and slipper clutch for easier activation, which produces a peak output of 14.2Nm at 7,500 rpm and 18.4PS of torque at 10,000 rpm.

MT15 Metallic Black

The newly introduced FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe and FZ-X models with E20 fuel compatibility, which deliver fewer emissions without sacrificing performance. All of Yamaha’s motorbike models will be E20 fuel compatible by the end of 2023.

In addition to this significant feature, Yamaha motorcycles will be available in 2023 with an on-board diagnostics (OBD-II) system that will help with real-time monitoring of pollution levels and eventually help reduce carbon emissions.
