Volkswagen has set its sights on electrifying the Indian automotive landscape with the introduction of the Volkswagen ID.4 electric crossover.
Unveiled at their Annual Brand Conference in Jaipur, Volkswagen confirmed that the ID.4 will mark their debut in the Indian electric vehicle market by the end of 2024.
ID.4 Specifications
The Volkswagen ID.4 comes with impressive specifications and cutting-edge features. Equipped with an 82 kWh battery pack and boasting an all-wheel drive system, the ID.4 delivers a staggering range of up to 500 km on a single charge.
With a power output of 299 bhp and peak torque of 499 Nm, propelling it from zero to 100 kmph in just over six seconds. Furthermore, its top speed is electronically limited to 180 kmph.
Design and Aesthetics
The Volkswagen ID.4 is sophisticated with its sleek and futuristic design. The GTX version, in particular, stands out with its sporty accents and dynamic styling cues. It comes with GTX badging, a black roof, spoiler, and air intakes.
