VIDEO: When Spanish Police Cracked Down On Fake Ferrari & Aston Martin Kit Cars

How would you feel about spending about USD 50 grand for a Ferrari, or an Aston Martin? Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? We recently stumbled upon this old video where Spanish cops cracked down on a factory which was selling replicas of Ferrari and Aston Martin supercars.

As many as 17 Ferraris and two Aston Martins were seized from an illegal manufacturing operation. These cars used run-of-the-mill motors instead of the powerful V8s and V12s into supercars body kit and were sold for a hefty amount. Eight people were arrested in connection with the racket. The fakes cost around €41,000 (approximately INR 30.72 lakh). That kind of money can get you a proper muscle car, or an old exotic.
