Japanese car maker Suzuki has published a new video of the A:Wind concept that was unveiled more than half a day ago. The new A:Wind concept made its public debut at the 30th Thailand International Motor Expo and previews the Maruti A-Star/Suzuki Alto replacement.

In this video, the car manufacturer is seen promoting its new baby as the “The new Small Standard ”

The new Suzuki A:Wind concept is 3600mm long, 1600mm wide and is 1540mm high. The latest concept car from Suzuki rides on 16-inch mag wheels shod in 185/55 R16 spec rubber. The new Suzuki A:Wind is powered by a 996cc petrol motor that is attached to a CVT ‘box.

The A:Wind concept has inoffensive looks that reflect the latest design language at Suzuki. However, there are some bits such as the ‘interesting’ looking front grille, which has two chrome bars stretching all the way into the headlights, that might not make it to the production model. On the inside, the car gets an understated design theme for the cabin, which comes in two tone colors. It is being said that the new Suzuki A:Wind is considerably roomier than the A-Star, which means that the issue of a cramped rear has been dealt with.

The Suzuki A:Wind has been revealed in a new Energy Yellow exterior paint job.

The Suzuki A:Wind concept will step on Indian soil at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo and the production spec A:Wind, which would come to us in later half of 2014, will replace the A-Star.
