It’s raining Superbowl ads this time of the year – some of them are good, some are not so good, and some are absolutely outstanding. One such ad is Ram Trucks’ video spot which dedicates itself to the tenacity, perseverance and hard working nature of the farmers. Titled ‘For the Farmer in all of us’ the video ad talks about reasons why God made the farmer.
The beautifully written narrative uses touching lines such as – God said, “I need somebody strong enough to clear trees and heave bales, yet gentle enough to yean lambs and wean pigs and tend the pink-comb pullets, who will stop his mower for an hour to splint the leg of a meadowlark.”
God said, “I need somebody willing to get up before dawn, milk cows, work all day in the field, milk cows again, eat supper, then go to town and stay past midnight at a meeting of the school board.” So God made a farmer.
And while being at it, the creative guys have very cleverly and classily associated Ram trucks with the daily lifestyle of the farmers in the visuals. Have a look – we are sure you’ll like it.
