We’ve been closely following the developments associated with the upcoming Mercedes AMG GT. In our earlier post about the upcoming model, we brought to you the interior images that were released by the Stuttgart based premium car maker and today, what we have here with us is a video showing a Mercedes AMG GT test mule that was spotted near its hometown by our friend Toldi.

Powering the upcoming Mercedes AMG GT is a V8 engine, specifications of which haven’t yet been revealed. Akin to the SLS AMG, the AMG GT has been completely developed by Mercedes AMG and the new model is expected to make its public debut around Autumn this year. There are good chances that the AMG GT unveiling event will take place at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October.
As is a highly known fact, the upcoming Mercedes AMG GT would replace the mighty SLS AMG in the car maker’s product portfolio and on being launched, the new Mercedes model will be seen locking horns with the Porsche 911 and the Jaguar F-Type.
