TVS Racing Unleashes Race-Optimized Apache RR 310

Quick Overview

  • TVS Racing kicks off the 2025 ARRC season at Thailand’s Chang International Circuit
  • A race-optimized Apache RR 310 with increased power and improved aerodynamics debuts
  • 15 racers from 12 countries to battle it out, including India’s fastest on two wheels

Buckle up, motorsport fans — the 2025 Idemitsu FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) is here, and TVS Racing is charging in at full throttle. Kicking off on April 25 at Thailand’s Chang International Circuit, this season promises tight battles, blistering lap times, and an upgraded Apache RR 310 ready to tear up the tarmac.

Now entering its fourth season, the TVS Asia One Make Championship (OMC) is raising the stakes by pulling in racers from newer territories like Spain, England, and Argentina. Expect a packed grid with 15 elite riders from 12 countries, making this season one of the most competitive yet.

A Faster, Sharper Apache RR 310

The heart of this year’s campaign is a thoroughly race-optimized Apache RR 310. Packing an extra 0.5 bhp punch and a tweaked aero package, the 2025 machine cuts 14% more drag than its predecessor. New gear ratios and a refined rear suspension make it more agile through corners and stable at top speed.

Backed by four decades of racing pedigree, the Apache RR 310 holds multiple records — including a class-topping 216 kmph top speed and lap records at Chang (1:48.33) and Sepang (2:20.80). Mid-season, TVS promises even sharper upgrades to keep things spicy.

Meet the Global Racers

This season’s line-up is a melting pot of racing talent. From India’s very own Sarthak Chavan and KY Ahamed to Hiroki Ono from Japan (defending champion) and Spain’s Luis Miguel, every name on the list spells competition. Sarthak made history last year as the first Indian to finish on the international ARRC podium — a feat he’s gunning to repeat.

Commenting on the 2025 ARRC season, Vimal Sumbly, Head – Premium Business, TVS Motor Company said, “As we enter our fourth season at the Idemitsu FIM ARRC with the TVS Asia OMC, we are raising the bar once again with a race-optimized TVS Apache RR 310 and participation from diverse set of racers from new countries. With top racers from 12 nations and key performance enhancements to the TVS Apache RR 310—including an upgraded aero package, increased power, and refined riding dynamics—this season is set to push the boundaries of racing technology and competition. Our commitment to motorsport excellence continues to drive innovation, nurture global talent, and reinforce TVS Racing’s leadership in two-wheeler motorsport. The 2025 season promises to be the most competitive yet, and we look forward to seeing our racers showcase their skills and set new benchmarks on the track.”

Final Thoughts

With a faster Apache, a fiercer grid, and more international flavor than ever, the 2025 ARRC is shaping up to be one heck of a season. If you’re a speed junkie or just someone who loves a good underdog story, keep an eye on those blue-and-white machines. Because when they go racing, it’s not just fast — it’s full throttle, no-nonsense, TVS style.
