TVS Racing is back with Young Media Racer Program

PETRONAS TVS Racing Team commences the 7th edition of the Young Media Racer Program. The latest edition of the program promotes motorsports in India, training young enthusiasts from media houses passionate about racing. This program comprises the participation of over 150 journalists from various media publications in India.

About the TVS Young Media Racers Program

PETRONAS TVS Racing has been a prominent platform for showcasing talent since 1982. And this program promotes motorsports culture in India and trains young enthusiasts from media houses. The PETRONAS TVS Young Media Racers Program has sharpened the racing skills of over 150 journalists. This demonstrates TVS Racing’s commitment to developing talent in the industry.

The intensive full-day training session of the team allowed various journalists and influencers from various regions of the country. This platform allows the participants to compete for a spot in the media category this season. 16 of the fastest riders were selected and will ride the race-spec TVS Apache RTR 200 throughout the entire season. However, this program has a rigorous selection process that ensures the most skilled riders will represent their media outlets on the track.

Stages of the Program

The unique ‘Young Media Racer Program’ is a two-stage initiative aimed at developing young media professionals’ racing skills. The first stage involves expert training under the guidance of FMSCI professionals to familiarize participants with road racing.

The second stage chooses top riders from the selection round to compete for the best lap time in 3 race weekends. The program offers an opportunity for young media professionals to experience the thrill of racing and enhancing their skills in the field.
