With the onset of the festive season this year, homegrown two-wheeler maker TVS has announced the launch of a special edition variant of its modern-retro motorcycle, the Ronin. Being offered at an attractive price of Rs. 1,72,700 (ex-showroom) the Special edition Ronin gets a few cosmetic tweaks over the standard model while remaining mechanically unchanged.
TVS Ronin Special Edition: Cosmetic Changes
The biggest highlight of the Special Edition Ronin is its fresher graphics that come with a triple-tone paint job that TVS calls the Nimbus Grey. It wears grey & white as the primary and secondary tones while a sporty red stripe is the third tone. The paint combo is seen both on the motorcycle’s tank and side panel.
Furthermore, fine details like the inclusion of an ‘R’ logo pattern and TVS Ronin branding on the wheel rims are also part of the deal. The lower portion of the modern-retro bike gets an all-black treatment and a fully blacked-out headlamp bezel as well to match the theme.
TVS Ronin Special Edition: Features
The bikemaker is offering the Special Edition motorcycle with pre-fitted accessories including the USB Charger, a swanky fly screen, and a uniquely designed EFI Cover.
The Special Edition comes with all the features of the standard model such as dual-channel ABS with two ABS modes, USD front forks, all-LED lighting, a rear mono-shock with seven-step pre-load adjustability, 300mm front disc brake, 240mm rear disc brake, alongwith adjustable levers. It also gets a Bluetooth-enabled fully digital console that comes with the brand’s SmartXonnect with connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation, voice assists, call/SMS alerts, ride analytics, ETA, etc.

About The TVS Ronin
The Ronin draws power from a 225.9cc, air/oil-cooled mill which produces 20.1bhp at 7,750rpm and a peak torque of 19.93Nm. The engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox along with a slip-assist clutch.
