TVS Motors is gearing up to enter the premium motorcycle category. Now, the 2-wheeler manufacturer has dropped a new block-the-date teaser.
The new premium motorcycle is expected to lock its horns with KTM 390 Duke, KTM 250 Duke, Honda CB300R, and the upcoming Yamaha MT-03.
What does the teaser reveal?

TVS Motors has recently dropped a new teaser. Although, there aren’t many details about the new launch. However, we expect that the automaker might launch a new motorcycle.
In this interesting teaser, the TVS has shared the coordinates of Bangkok. This teaser says – Restless to Play? And Block Your Date 6th September 2023. It represents that the automaker is preparing for a big event in Thailand on the 6th of September 2023.
Is it the new Apache 310 Street Motorcycle?

TVS is testing the naked street version of the Apache motorcycle. The upcoming new motorcycle in the Apache series is likely to be based on the Apache RR 310. However, the design of the upcoming bike will be different.
For starters, the naked street version of the Apache will not get the fairings that are present in other models. Moreover, the upcoming motorcycle will get a different front fascia, a new instrument console, and more colour options.
Also, the design of the new motorcycle is likely to be further highlighted by the new alloy wheel design, exhaust setup, and tail section. The upcoming motorcycle will get the sharp looking LED headlight, golden USD forks, split-type seats, upright exhaust, and a muscular fuel tank. However, the design of the new bike is expected to be different than the BMW G310 R.
New TVS Apache 310: Engine, Suspension, and Performance
The new TVS Apache 310 naked street version is likely to use the 312cc liquid-cooled petrol engine. In Sport or Track Mode, this engine produces 34ps of power and 27nm of torque. However, in Urban or Rain Mode, this engine makes 26ps of power and 25nm of torque. The new motorcycle will use the 6-Speed Manual Transmission.
This results in 0-60km/h in 2.93 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 7.17 seconds. However, the top speed in Sport or Track Mode will be 160km/h. In Urban or Rain Mode, the top speed of the motorcycle will be 125km/h.
Meanwhile, the suspension setup of the motorcycle will include USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. However, the weight of the new motorcycle will be less than RR310 by 10 kg. The weight reduction will contribute to improved handling and acceleration. Also, the motorcycle will get the disc brake at the front and the rear with a dual-channel ABS system as standard.
