TVS Apache RTR 310: Most Affordable 300cc Naked Bike!

TVS has introduced the Apache RTR 310 at an attractive price of Rs 2.43 lakh, making it Rs 29,000 more affordable than its sportbike sibling, the Apache RR310.

Same Powerful Engine

The TVS Apache RTR 310 is equipped with a proven 312cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, known for its reliability, which has been previously featured in the Apache RR310 and BMW 310s. In this iteration, it generates an impressive 35.6hp and 28.7Nm of torque, an increase of 1.6hp and 0.7Nm compared to its predecessors. This powerplant is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features an assist-and-slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts.

Apache RTR 310 Riding Dynamics

The Apache RTR 310 employs a lightweight aluminum trellis frame, closely resembling that of the RR310. While the rear subframe differs, it maintains a sporty profile, rising sharply towards the pillion seat and tail section. The bike’s suspension comprises an upside-down fork and a monoshock, with rear preload adjustability for the standard variant. It rides on 17-inch wheels fitted with dual compound radial tires, offering excellent grip. Furthermore, the RTR 310 offers five distinct riding modes, enhancing its versatility.

Apache RTR 310 Advanced Features

The TVS Apache RTR 310 is equipped with a fully digital 5.0-inch TFT screen, which is landscape-oriented, setting it apart from the portrait-oriented TFT dash on the RR310. The bike features modern amenities such as an LED headlight and tail-light, cruise control, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a bi-directional quickshifter. It also boasts heated and cooled seats, showcasing its focus on rider comfort. The RTR 310 comes with advanced safety features, including race-tuned dynamic stability control and linear stability control. These features can be further customized through TVS’ Built To Order (BTS) program, which offers packages that include adjustable suspension.

Competitive Pricing

With an attractive starting price of Rs 2.43 lakh, the TVS Apache RTR 310 is positioned competitively in the market. In comparison, the KTM 390 Duke is currently priced at Rs 2.97 lakh, the Triumph Speed 400 at Rs 2.33 lakh, and the BMW G 310 R falls between the two at Rs 2.85 lakh. Notably, the sportier Apache RR310 is priced at Rs 2.72 lakh.

The TVS Apache RTR 310 offers an enticing combination of performance, advanced features, and affordability, making it an attractive option in the sportbike segment.
