As TVS continues to test the Akula 310 entry-level performance motorcycle, new set of spy images of this upcoming motorcycle surface yet again on the world wide web. The latest set of spy images come from Tamil Nadu where two heavily camouflaged test mules of this upcoming motorcycle were captured through the lens. The model is slated to enter in the production phase in 2017.

The test mule was equipped with the USD front forks which were seen on the concept at the 2016 Auto Expo. The exhaust canister have been sourced from the upcoming BMW G 310 R roadster. Ergonomically, the Akula gets a relatively upright riding position while the split seat setup reminds us of the new Apache RTR 200 4V. Moreover, as seen in the images, the test mule was equipped with the same Michelin rubber that will come factory installed on the BMW G 310 R. Other highlights, as seen before, include twin headlamp setup with LED pilot lamps and a LED tail light.

The Akula 310 will be based on the BMW G 310 R and will draw power from the same motor that propels the Bavarian streetfighter. The unit on the G 310 R is a 310cc single-cylinder liquid cooled motor which delivers 34 bhp of power at 9500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. We are not sure if the Akula will get a different state of tune. Besides the engine, the Akula 310 will also share its frame, suspension setup and brakes with the Indo-German roadster.

One of the gentlemen did not seem to be pleased to be on a camera as he can be seen attempting to get hold of the device. But we assume he was trying to hide that Honda key chain he was using on the Akula 310. What do you have to say about the motorcycle? Share your views with us through the comments section below.
