Toyota Kirloskar Motors has finally revealed the prices for the recently launched Innova Hycross MPV. The Hycross starts from an introductory price of Rs 18.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for entry-level G with the non-hybrid motor. Its top-spec ZX (O) is priced at Rs 28.97 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and comes powered by the 2.0-L strong-hybrid motor.
Innova Hycross: What’s New?
The Innova Hycross misses out on a Diesel engine & only comes with the option of FWD petrol automatic transmissions. This generation of the MPV, unlike the earlier ones, is built on a monocoque chassis construction i.e., TNGA platform. This allows the carmaker to maximize cabin room & provide a stable, plush ride quality with minimized body roll.
Powertrain Options & Specs
The 2.0-L naturally aspirated petrol engine churns out 172hp & 202 NM of torque while the strong-hybrid version is good for giving out a combined output of 184hp & 188 NM of torque.
Variants Explained
The Hycross is available in five trims – G, GX, VX, ZX, and ZX (O). The two lower variants are offered with the naturally aspirated petrol engine. While the top three variants are only available with the strong-hybrid powertrain.
The variants G, GX, and VX are offered in an option of a bench seat or captain seats for the 2nd-row, i.e., 7 or 8-seat configurations. But the higher variants ZX and ZX (O) get the captain chairs and is a 7-seater.
