Toyota Innova and Fortuner Get A Price Hike

Toyota has announced another price hike for its two popular products, the Innova Crysta and the Fortuner. The price increase in the Innova Crysta is by ₹86,000 while the Fortuner’s prices were hiked up by up to ₹1.14 lakh. This is the third price hike for both and the constant price hikes have also made them the most expensive in their respective segments.

Innova Crysta

The 2022 Innova Crysta was previously available at a price tag of  Rs 16.26 lakh. The price of diesel variants has increased, the diesel base variant with Manual transmission gets a hike of Rs 27,000, While the variants with automatic transmission get a maximum hike of Rs 86,000. The new price range of Innova’s diesel variants is Rs 18.90 Lakh to 26.54 lakhs. Although the prices for petrol variants are still the same.

Talking about the car The Toyota Innova comes with Sparkling Black Crystal Shine, a trapezoidal piano-black grille with chrome surround, sharper front bumper design, Diamond-Cut alloy wheel design, new front clearance sonar (with MID Indication) for improved safety, interior colour of Camel Tan for upholstery (ZX grade only), and new Smart Playcast touchscreen audio with Android Auto/Apple Carplay.  And safety features of Innova Crysta include seven airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, and Hill Start Assist, along with the addition of a new front clearance sonar (with MID display) to prevent collisions while parking in tight spaces.

Fortuner

The 2021 Fortuner had a price tag of Rs 29.98 lakh, Which now costs  Rs 61,000 more. The price hike is implemented across all the variants including petrol, diesel, and automatic. With the latest price hike, the standard Fortuner – petrol and diesel with manual and automatic transmissions – now costs Rs 61,000 more. The base petrol variant which was available at Rs 31.79 lakh, now will come at Rs 32.40 lakhs. The Legender will have a price tag of 42.05 lakh with a hike of Rs 80,000. The highest price hike of Rs 1.14 lakh is seen in the price of GR Sport versions.

Talking about the Fortuner, it is powered by a 2.8L, turbo diesel engine Fortuner delivers 204PS and 500Nm of peak outputs in the Automatic version and 420Nm in the Manual version, the torque output is 420Nm. It comes with top-notch features like a large infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a JBL sound system, connected car tech, front clearance Sonar, seat ventilation system and much more. driving modes of Legender include Eco, Normal, and Sport.
