Volkswagen recently launched a brand new #GermanyCheersForIndia campaign, to show support for the Indian Team in the ongoing Cricket World Cup tournament. Under this campaign, the German carmaker has come up with new Cup Editions for its 3 popular models: The Polo, Ameo and Vento. These cars now get a number of attractive and limited edition features, to celebrate the love for cricket. The Cup Edition Polo, Ameo and Vento will now be available across all Volkswagen dealerships in India, while the prices start from INR 6.19 lakhs (ex-showroom, India). Chrome Fender ‘Cup Edition’ Badge
All the 3 cars, the Polo, Ameo and Vento get small ‘Cup Edition’ chrome badges on the side fenders. This unique badging will reflect upon the exceptional and special support of Volkswagen for the Indian Cricket team, this World Cup.
Sporty Body Side Graphics
The new sporty body graphics on the sides enhance the sporty appeal of the car and at the same time involve the owners in supporting their national cricket team.
‘Cup Edition’ Leatherette Seat Covers
The new leatherette seat covers add to the exclusive and premium charm of these special edition vehicles. Despite being a leather lookalike, leatherette also feels like real leather and gives the passengers a royal and luxurious feel.
R15 Sporty Alloy Wheels
The R15 Alloy wheels now get a new sportier design to match up to the new design additions and graphics scheme. These new alloys give the Polo, Ameo and Vento a new and fresh look. The Polo gets a set of diamond cut ‘Razor’ alloys, while the Vento gets a set of diamond cut ‘Linas’ alloys, however, the Ameo gets a set of basic ‘Tosa’ alloys.
Unique Paint Scheme
The paint schemes are also unique to each model, as the Polo Cup Edition is available with Flash Red only, while the Vento Cup Edition is available in Reflex Silver only and the Ameo Cup Edition is available in Candy White only.
