A new Transporter movie without Jason Statham sounds like Two and a Half Men without Charlie Sheen. But it seems like we have to live with it, as the latest and fourth iteration of the popular Transporter franchise, christened as Refueled, will see Jason Statham hanging his transporting boots and let newcomer Ed Skrein take over.
Coming from the producers of Lucy and the Taken trilogy, Transporter Refueled stars Ed Skrein as Frank Martin, the most highly-skilled transporter money can buy. This time around, the stakes are greater and technology better, but the same three simple rules apply: never change the deal, no names and never open the package.
Of course, the new 2015 Audi S8 with a 520-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 engine is Ed’s steed of choice, and like always it keeps itself scratch-less even after the most harrowing and dramatic of adventures, like flying. Will Ed be able to ape Statham’s effortlessly cool demeanor, that had ladies swooning back in 2002, when the original Transporter hit theaters? Watch the trailer here:
