After last week’s latest Bumblebee reveal from the upcoming ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ movie, the new Barricade, or the ‘bad cop’ has been uncovered. A sole image of the new car-character was tweeted by actor Josh Duhamel who plays Lt. Colonel William Lennox in the movie, due for a June 2017 release. The new Ford Mustang forms the base for the new Barricade. With stealth Police livery, cop lights, a bull bar, and a not-so-subtle body kit including massive hood scoops, the new Barricade looks positively mental.

Considering the new Barricade is based on the 5.0-litre V8 powered Mustang, good for 435 hp and 542.3 Nm of torque, it’ll be capable of hitting 100 kph from a standstill in a mere 4.5 seconds, before transforming itself into a..er..Transformer. Joining Barricade will be Mark Wahlberg returning as Cade Yeager and Anthony Hopkins in an unknown role, along with Isabela Moner, who’ll play the film’s female lead. This fifth iteration of the popular franchise will also be the final Transformers film directed by Michael Bay.
