The Alfa Kilo challenge is a non- profit, non- competitive, hardcore 4×4 Off Road event to be held in Karjat on the 25th, 26th and 27th of June. The event will only see vehicles equipped with working 4X4 and low ratio transfer case battling it out on rough terrain, steep hill descents and deep trenches.
The event is being organized in Karjat by Kunal Bhaskaran and Ajit Singh in the memory of 23 year old, Abhimanyu Singh A.K.A Alfa Kilo of the Team Bhp forum who passed away suddenly last year and left all who knew him in the India 4×4 community shattered.
Unfortunately, the registrations for the event has already been filled up and the maximum number of contestants has been attained. But nonetheless, the event does seem to be a great way to spend the weekend for us petrol heads. This event is being supported by all the off road clubs and by Mahindra, who will be providing their back up vehicles. The Alfa Kilo Challenge is scheduled to commence at 09:00 am on the 26th of June while the participants are required to report at the venue on the 25th June latest by 23:30 hours.
