Test Drive a Cadillac get $100
All in a bid to improve sales and bring in new customers, Cadillac is paying prospective customers in U.S. $100 to take a test drive in one of their models. This seemingly lucrative scheme was launched in March will run till the end of this month.
“This is our way of way of trying to reach out and get people. The way to conquest in that super competitive market is to get people’s seats in seats,” Bill Peffer, U.S. vice president for Cadillac sales and service, told to the media. As per him, driving license holders with a registered vehicle from 2004 or later are eligible for benefiting from this scheme. This payout comes in the form of a Visa prepaid gift card. Also, those who buy a new Cadillac but don’t own a GM vehicle will also be offered a $1,500 incentive.
It may be noted that the new Cadillac ATS and XTS suffer from a poor sales performance and this new scheme might help these models post a better sales figure on the sales charts of their respective segments.
