Tata Motors to launch Nexon Facelift and Nexon EV Facelift on 14th September!

Tata Motors has recently unveiled and started the bookings of the Nexon facelift. The carmaker is all set to unveil the Nexon EV facelift on 7 September. Moreover, the carmaker has recently announced that the prices will be revealed on 14 September.

Tata Nexon facelift: What’s New?

The Nexon facelift boasts the new fresh upper grille design along with the LED split-headlamp setup. The compact SUV also gets stylish sequential LED daytime running lights. On the side, there’s a sharp contrasting accent line and new alloy wheels to add to its appeal. At the rear, the Nexon facelift features a full-width X-shaped LED light and a faux skid plate. Meanwhile, the ground clearance stays at a comfortable 208mm.

This compact SUV boasts a fresh 10.25-inch touchscreen and a two-spoke steering wheel for a modern touch. The slimmer AC vents and fewer physical buttons create a sleek cabin look. Importantly, there’s a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster that can even show navigation info. The range-topping variant of the Nexon facelift will get features like a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, and more.

Tata Nexon EV facelift: What to Expect?

The Nexon EV facelift is set to be unveiled on September 7th, and teasers have given us a sneak peek. It will sport full-width daytime running lights and fresh exterior colours. Moreover, there’s a buzz about a new naming system, with options like Medium Range and Long Range, like the Tiago EV.

Currently, there’s limited information available about the technical specifications of the facelift. However, it’s expected that it will stick with the same battery pack and power and torque output figures.

Expected Pricing and Rivals

The Nexon facelift is anticipated to begin at a starting price of Rs. 8.50 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It will be in competition with popular models like the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and Mahindra XUV300.

On the flip side, the Nexon EV facelift is expected to come with a price range of Rs. 15 Lakhs to Rs. 20 Lakhs, ex-showroom. When it hits the market, it will continue its competition with the likes of the MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400, and Hyundai Kona Electric.
