Tata Motors Swift Joke

Tata Motors And Its Banters – We Take A Look At All The Troll Master’s Sarcastic Quips At Its Rivals

Tata motors have always been at the front foot when it comes to trolling other brands. There have been various trolls made by the Indian manufacture on other brands. It is worth noting here that automotive rivalries do take this shape sometimes but this is all done in a jovial manner and should not be taken seriously. We have made a compilation of Tata Motors’ shenanigans. Tata Motors pays special attention to the safety of its cars and when the rivals fail miserably, Tata Motors takes it as a juicy opportunity.

Tata Motors takes a dig at Maruti’s Swift

This is the most recent one by Tata Motors for the Maruti Swift. This is because the car scored a 0-star rating in the Latin NCAP crash test. For adult occupant protection, the car scored a 15.53 percent rating, while child occupant protection obtained a 0% rating. Tata Motors reacted by making a funny joke at Maruti Suzuki on social media. The image of a slot machine with the letters of the word ‘Swift’ jumbled and a caption that wrote ‘Don’t gamble on Safety’ appeared on Tata Tiago’s Instagram account.

Digs at Wagon R

It seems like the homegrown carmaker isn’t done yet with the roasting. This one is old, and the roast is a tweet. It read “Safety is “two” important to be ignored. Be smart before someone overturns your caRt.” In this, there is a whole lot of wordplay. The “two” states the Wagon R’s rating. And in the word cart, the R is capital which signifies the R in the Wagon R.  The image supporting this reads “OH SH**T WAGONE”, in this the wordplay is a joint word, Wagon + gone.

Tata Altroz trolls Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno

This was again due to the Global NCAP results which came out for the 2 hatchbacks. Tata Motors was not late to respond as usual. Tata Motors asked the two models for a crash date, which is pointing towards the better safety of the model. “Would you like to go on a #crashdate with me?” posted Tata Motors mentioning Baleno as Bae-Leno and i20 as Hi 20. It also wrote, “Hello Cupids. Altroz loves his rivals, like Hi20 & Bae-Leno, and others… So, this V-Day, we want you to send our message of love to them. Global NCAP you want to host this #CrashDate? Let’s put this love to the test.”

Trolls The Grand i10

The reason is similar, Global NCAP results. Tata Motors has made it mandatory to joke around the results as their cars have scored brilliantly. This time it’s the hatchback from Hyundai, Grand i10. An official tweet was released by the firm which read – ‘You can only wow some by just being grand on paper.’ There was an image attached to it which noted that four is better than two in Roman numerals. But the play here is that “two” is written as “ii”, denoting Hyundai’s terminology. It further adds that “It’s not grand science, it’s simple maths” and next to that is the Tata Tiago’s Global NCAP 4-star rating. During the round of crash tests, the Hyundai Grand i10 received a two-star NIOS safety rating from Global NCAP for both adult and child protection, while the vehicle’s construction was measured unstable.
