Tata Curvv Debuts at Rs 10 Lakh: Unveiling Design and Specifications

Tata Motors has launched the much-anticipated Curvv ICE, with introductory prices ranging from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 17.7 lakh. Positioned as a competitor to models like the Basalt and other popular mid-size SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, the Curvv comes in eight distinct variants and is available in six striking color options.

Striking Exterior Design

The Tata Curvv boasts a distinctive and modern design, highlighted by its signature sloping roofline, front and rear LED light bars, and split LED headlamps. The SUV’s sporty appearance is further enhanced by dual-tone alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, blacked-out ORVMs, inverted L-shaped LED taillights, and glossy black cladding that runs along the body. Finishing touches like a shark-fin antenna and six color options—Gold Essence, Pure Grey, Opera Blue, Flame Red, Pristine White, and Daytona Grey—add to its visual appeal.

Features and Interior

Inside, the 2024 Tata Curvv is designed with an emphasis on technology and comfort. The cabin features a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Drivers will appreciate the fully digital-colored instrument cluster, electric parking brake, and a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, all contributing to a contemporary driving experience.

The Curvv also includes advanced features like touch controls for the air conditioning system, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, and a faux carbon fiber finish on the dashboard. Practical amenities such as drive modes, rear AC vents, a powered tailgate, wireless charging, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear seat recline function, engine start-stop button, ambient lighting, and an auto-dimming IRVM enhance both convenience and luxury. Additionally, the Curvv is equipped with Tata’s Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite, ensuring a safer driving experience.

Performance and Powertrain Options

The Tata Curvv offers a choice of three powertrains to suit a variety of customer preferences: a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, a 1.2-liter GDi (Gasoline Direct Injection) turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. The new GDi turbo-petrol engine delivers 123 bhp and 225 Nm of torque, offering a balance of power and efficiency. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) unit, providing flexibility to drivers.
