Tata Motors has quietly slipped in a new budget-end variant of its slow selling Aria MPV. Christened as the Tata Aria Pure LX, the new variant goes on sale with a price tag of INR 9.95 lakhs (ex-showroom Bengaluru).
The new Tata Aria Pure LX comes with dual AC, foldable second and third row seats, keyless entry with a remote built into the key fob, driver info system and electrically adjustable ORVMs.
The car continues to sport disc brakes at all four wheels. However, the new variant misses out on ABS with EBD, ESP and Airbags.
Among other features, the Aria Pure LX also doesn’t get Cruise control, rain sensing wipers, Reverse guide, height adjustable driver seat and allow wheels.
Powering the Tata Aria Pura LX is the same 2.2L Dicor oil burner that does duty on higher variants. The budget variant though gets only a single mass flywheel for the engine instead of the double mass setup on higher variants.
