Here is another reason to envy Indonesian motorcycling enthusiasts. Indonesian market has received yet another bonny offering from Yamaha as the two-wheeler manufacturer has revealed the special edition models of the YZF-R15 and YZF-R25 draped official Movistar and Tech3 livery for the two-wheeler market there.
The production of these special edition motorcycles, however, would be limited to 500 units of the special edition YZF-R25 and 3,000 units of the YZF-R15.
In terms of design, the motorcycles, are inspired by Yamaha’s MotoGP machines. The Movistar edition of the YZF-R15 and YZF-R25 receive the racing blue colour that is also seen on the litre MotoGP motorcycle, the M1. The Movistar logo on the fairing is accompanied by the tag “Semakin Di Depan“. Semakin Di Depan is the spirit of Yamaha Indonesia, which means “One Step Ahead“.
The Tech3 edition, similar to the MotoGP motorcycle, comes painted in black colour and is stickered with brand logos like Monster Energy and Motul. Mechanically though, there are no changes in both the motorcycles remain similar to their respective standard variants.
Back home, we are still awaiting a new, entry level performance motorcycle from Yamaha to make it to Indian shores. You can share your views with us through the comments section below.
