The world’s most advanced helmet, the Skully AR-1 will be available for pre-order from December 8, 2014 until January 8, 2015. One of the world’s first augmented reality helmets built for motorcyclists, the AR-1 retails for $1499, which amounts to roughly Rs 92,735. Skully, the makers of the AR-1 are offering this opportunity to the general public for the first time, after they managed to attract a record $2.8m through their campaign on Indiegogo.

The Skully AR-1 is the first helmet in the world to boast of a vertically integrated smart HUD display. It has technology which enhances awareness of its users by linking advanced optics to an intelligent network of cameras, sensors, and microprocessors. More than 1,700 AR-1s have been sold already with Skully offering the helmet in shades of matt black or gloss white in sizes ranging from S to XXL.
