The inaugural edition of the Royal Enfield Slide School Cup India wrapped up with an action-packed finale at the brand’s newly launched Jaipur Track. The championship, which spanned three months across Goa, Pune, Bengaluru, and Jaipur, brought together some of the finest flat-track riders in the country.
The competition featured seven intense races across five rounds, with riders pushing their limits on Royal Enfield’s FT 411 Slide School motorcycles. The final race was a nail-biter, as Anish Shetty and Sathya Raj Arumugam finished tied at 39 points each. However, Shetty was declared the winner based on his victory in the third race of the final round. Karan Drishya secured the third spot with 29 points.

The Jaipur Track – A Hub for Racing & Training
The final round was held at the new Royal Enfield Jaipur Track, a state-of-the-art facility in Kukas, Rajasthan. The venue features four dedicated zones—Adventure Zone, Slide Zone, Technical Zone, and Chill Zone.
The track offers a specialized Slide Zone for flat track racing, where riders experienced the thrill of sliding through corners on dirt. The regional qualifiers and the final showdown took place here, marking its first major motorsport event.
Ahead of the finale, participants attended an International Flat Track Masterclass conducted by Gary Birtwistle, a renowned flat track racer. The session provided valuable techniques on control, adaptability, and speed, preparing riders for the championship decider.
A Step Forward for Indian Flat Track Racing
The Slide School Cup is an extension of Royal Enfield’s Slide School program, which has grown across six countries, including India, the UK, the USA, and Thailand. It aims to make motorsports more accessible while enhancing rider skills in a competitive setting.
The concept first debuted in Europe in 2024 before coming to India. With over 12 competitors vying for the title, the championship showcased the growing popularity of flat track racing in India.
While flat track racing is still in its early stages in India, Royal Enfield’s initiative could pave the way for more structured competitions, similar to how motocross and rally events have gained traction over the years.
