Royal Enfield launched their latest product, an adventure tourer known as the Himalayan in March this year. The motorcycle was launched with a price tag of Rs. 1.55 lakh (Ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The company, a subsidiary of Eicher Motors, is also known to organize tours for its customers across regions such as the Himalayas and Leh – Ladakh.
Now citing the number of people who use a Royal Enfield motorcycle on these roads, the company has opened up a service center in the city of Leh. The service center, known as Venture Third Pole, is located at Arya Tara Complex, Housing Colony, Leh-Manali Highway, Leh 194101 (Jammu & Kashmir). The facility holds a multi-bay service area and a customer lounge where motorcyclists can wait and relax while their rides are being serviced.
The service center will be a boon for riders who face problems on their motorcycles while riding through some of the toughest terrains the region has to offer. The news comes days after Royal Enfield began the registration for the first Himalayan Odyssey for women. The event is scheduled to be flagged off from Delhi on 9th July.
