We reported in detail when the Rolls Royce Ghost Series II made its international debut. Now, the cheapest offering from the BMW Group owned uber-luxury car maker is all set to be launched in India next month. In fact, one unit has already touched down on the Indian shores, which will be used on the launch day. The facelifted model will be available in SWB and EWB variants.
The Rolls Royce Ghost Series II is a mid-life refresh with some minor changes. Speaking of the changes, the LED DRLs get a new shape. The car gets new bumpers at the front and rear ends. Sitting above the front bumper is a larger intake and refreshed turn signal indicators. The traditional Spirit of Ecstasy now tilts slightly forward. The exterior changes also include a new paint scheme and all new alloy wheel design.
On the inside, the Series II is equipped with all new seats and an updated infotainment system. Rolls Royce hasn’t made any changes to the powertrain and the model is powered by the same 6.6 liter twin turbocharged V12 that cranks out 563 Bhp and 780 Nm of torque. The V12 is mated to the same 8-speed ZF automatic transmission that performed its duty on the outgoing model. Rolls Royce has also equipped the Ghost Series II with new rear axle bearings, revised struts and wheel dampers. The luxury car will be launched in India on November 7th.
