The European brand Renault on Monday celebrated the milestone of 50,000 units of Renault Kiger. As the 50,000th unit rolled out of the company’s Chennai plant Renault launched the new Stealth Black exterior colour to celebrate the achievement of Renault Kiger. The Kiger was introduced to the Indian market in 2021 before its global launch. Renault Kiger was a part of a collaboration between the design teams in France and India. And has sufficiently served the customers with its performance and fuel efficiency.

The newly introduced MY22 edition of Kiger comes in two engine options to choose from 1.0L Energy Engine in MT & EASY-R AMT transmissions and 1.0L Turbo in MT & X-TRONIC CVT transmissions. The Kiger is equipped with features like Wireless Smartphone Charge, Cruise Control functions, New Tailgate Chrome Insert, Front Skid Plate, TURBO Door Decals along with 40.64 cm Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels with Red Wheel Caps.
Enhancing the exterior and adding the sporty touch the new Stealth Black comes in the RXT(0) and RXZ variants in both engine options. Renault Kiger is also available in seven colour options of four dual-tone combinations. This sub-four meter B-SUV is one of the most affordable SUVs in the segment. Kiger has also been awarded many times in the compact SUV category. Providing cost-efficient maintenance it also delivers the best-in-segment fuel efficiency of 20.5 KM/L.
Kiger is also equipped with all the safety requirements receiving a 4-Star Safety Rating for Adult occupant safety by Global NCAP the foremost global car assessment programme. Renault Kiger has safety features like four airbags (front and side), seatbelts with pre-tensioner and a load-limiter (for driver occupant) and safety features like ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors, an impact sensing door unlock, speed-sensing door lock, 60/40 split rear row seat with adjustable headrests, and ISOFIX anchorage for a child seat.
After success in the Indian market, Renault Kiger is now also available to customers in South Africa, Indonesia, the East African Region, (Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia) Seychelles, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan, Bermuda and Brunei.
