Renault Kwid Climber brochure leak

Renault Kwid Climber Brochure Leaked Ahead Of Impending Launch

Recent reports suggested that dealer training for the upcoming Renault Kwid Climber has begun ahead of its launch. Now, images leaked on the web reveal the brochure of the Kwid Climber ahead of its launch that is likely to take place soon.

The Kwid Climber seen in the leaked brochure carries a few changes over the model that was showcased as a concept at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi last year. In production form, the Kwid Climber features a blue paint-job with orange accents. Also on offer is a faux skid plate finished in silver, larger plastic inserts around the fog lamps, beefier body cladding, roof rails, alloy wheels and a Climber badge on the front door panel. The contrasting orange accents can be seen on the ORVMs, roof rails and the skid plate.

Inside, the Renault Kwid Climber will retain the layout as seen on the regular model save for a few orange inserts. These orange inserts can be seen on the seat upholstery, centre console, gear lever and the door pads. The seat headrests will receive the Climber badge.

Powertrain details remain scarce although Renault is likely to launch the Kwid Climber with the 1.0-litre petrol engine mated to a five speed manual transmission. It remains unclear whether Renault will offer the Kwid Climber with an AMT gearbox. Stay tuned for more details that are likely to surface soon.
