Nissan Motor India, the 100% subsidiary of Nissan Motor Japan, reported a rise in sales by 60.3 percent for the month of August year on year. The sales figure for the month of August 2014 stood at 3,999 units versus 2,494 units in the same period last year.
The financial year to date sales number stood at 24,596 units as against 9,988 units during same period last year marking a rise of 116.2 percent. Nissan currently retails products across hatchback, MUV, SUV and sedan segments in India.
