Next generation 2015 Mercedes C Class rear end revealed?

That the good folks at Mercedes are busy working on the next gen 2015 Mercedes C Class is a well known fact. 2015 C Class test mules have been spotted testing on numerous occasions and from what we know, the next gen C Class will be much more spacious and upmarket than the current model.

This would help Mercedes widen the gap between the C Class and the CLA Class.

Now, the image you see here can be very well of the next C’s rear end and as can  be observed, the new S Class influence is surely in abundance on the upcoming car. The car features new wrap around tail lamp with incorporated LEDs, a dash of chrome running across the boot lid, twin quad exhaust pipes and a chunky rear bumper.

It is evident from the various spy pics that have been doing rounds of the cyber space that the new 2015 C Class will have a larger greenhouse and its front fascia would be characterized by a larger grille and sweptback headlamps.

The car will come with a curvaceous dashboard, with it getting three circular air vents. It is also expected that many high end features and gizmos from the new S Class would trickle down to the next C.

Not much is known about the engine options but we expect that the next gen C Class would come with:

2.2-liter CDI four-cylinder diesel with power ranging from 170 HP to 231 HP
1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol with 156 HP
2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol with power ranging from 184 HP to 252 HP
3.0-liter V6 with max power of 333 HP

The new C Class is expected to debut early next year and stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates on the 2015 Mercedes C Class.
