Honda has recently unveiled their compact SUV, the Elevate. Also, the carmaker has started its production.

Nowadays, safety has become an important factor when buying a car. In a media event, Honda announced that they have performed an in-house crash test on the Elevate.

At the media event, the team Honda India announced that the new Elevate fulfills global safety standards. The company announced it after conducting various in-house crash tests on the compact SUV.

In this testing, Honda has conducted various crash tests on the new Elevate. The tests conducted are mentioned below:

  • Front offset crash test at 64kmph
  • Front offset test at 64 kmph with child dummy
  • Side moving barrier test at 50 kmph
  • Flat barrier test at 50 kmph
  • Side pole impact test at 32 kmph
  • Rear moving barrier test at 50 kmph

Meanwhile, Honda has claimed that the new Elevate has secured the best results in the crash tests. Also, the new Elevate is ready and fulfills global safety standards.

Honda engineers seem pretty confident about Elevate’s safety performance and they are sure that they will get either a 4 or a 5 star rating at Global NCAP.

New ACE Body Structure of Honda Elevate

The Japanese carmaker has revealed that the new Elevate uses the ACE body structure. Meanwhile, ACE stands for Advanced Compatibility Engineering. Also, the new Elevate has used high-strength steel for improved safety.

Moreover, the frame of the new Elevate is constructed for providing better front impact protection. This results in a great reduction of the shock experienced by the occupants. The new ACE Body provides improved energy absorption and slip-off prevention.

The new Honda Elevate features the new ADAS safety package. This package includes various features like adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, road departure system. collision mitigation braking system, lane-keeping assist, etc.

The Launch Date, Pricing, and the Competition

The carmaker is likely to launch the Elevate and announce its prices in the first week of September 2023. We expect that Honda will launch it in the price range of Rs.11 Lakhs to Rs.18 Lakhs Ex-showroom.

After the launch, Honda Elevate will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, etc.
