We must say that we are rather amused with the brochure scans of the Hero Motorcorp Karizma R and the ZMR. Whoever has designed this brochure doesn’t seem to know anything about the representation of power in units. The brochure highlights 223 cc of raw power. And we thought power was represented in bhp and PS! With that gaffe, as you’d expect, there is no mention of the correct power specs for the bike anywhere on the brochure.
The engine seems to have been left untouched though, with the peak torque rating of 19.35 Nm at 6000 rpm matching that of the currently available model.
Here’s the list of changes you should expect on the two models.
- Hero Karizma ZMR / R
- Some changes made to the instrument consoled colors (Karizma R)
- The insrtument console for the ZMR has been retained as is for now
- New graphics for the bike (both bikes)
- New tail-lamp design
- Clear lens blinkers

wrong info sir…both the karizmas have a higher torque and power.
Karizma-old-18.35 new-19.35 Nm
ZMR-old-18.35 new-19.73Nm
power is not disclosed…I feel thats a strategy to keep the hype alive….and dont expect much oncrease from the same engine…it will be around 19bhp
its soo strange :O
come on Hero, give atleast 20bhp

The torque figures for existing models is 18.35 Nm, not 19.7 Nm. The torque seems to have been improved in the new engines. Power figures in the brochure are left out strangely. The officials at the launch confirmed increased power figures, but didn't disclose it.
Hero MotoCorp has graphic designers in their R&D Team, not engineers.
