New 2016 Suzuki Access 125 Launched in Pune

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has launched the all new Access 125 in Pune, Maharashtra. The Access is already a popular scooter in the Indian two-wheeler market, having sold more than 2 million units. The New Access 125 is powered by SEP equipped engine, inheriting the latest technology developed by Suzuki from its MotoGP racing experience and advanced analysis techniques.

The new Access 125 has a rigid yet lightweight frame which according to Suzuki improves mileage, straight line stability and cornering performance. The scooter features a larger 12 inch front tire and fine-tuned suspension, to improve road holding performance over rough and uneven roads. As was the case with its predecessor, the 125cc mill is paired to a CVT.

The new Access 125 has a steel front fender and steel leg shield for added protection and durability and the longest seat and under seat storage in the segment. Additional features include front pocket, optional DC socket and a multi -function instrument cluster with digital display. The new Access is equipped with the latest automobile technology – the Suzuki Easy Start System, which is the first of its kind on any two wheeler in India. The new Access 125 will also be available with an optional front disc brake and alloy wheels.

The New Access 125 will be available for sale in 5 colours — Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue, Candy Sonoma Red, Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matt Fibroin Gray and Glass Sparkle Black. Prices for the Access 125 (Drum brake) start at Rs. 55332 (Ex-Showroom-Pune) and the disk brake equipped Access 125 will be made available at a later stage.

  1. Without the combined braking system/lined braking system maintaining straight line stability is questionable. It should be standard fitment, though it is becoming mandatory. With the rising traffic density, declining road use sensibility along with poor road conditions in our country it is one of many safety features that should be incorporated instead of making some cosmetic changes in the name of safety and stability.
